Valentine’s Ideas
Valentine's Day is one of my favorite holidays! Mainly because I try to be creative and show the people I care about that I love them in a simple, yet thoughtful way. You don't have to spend a ton of money on Valentine's Day, and I want to show you how!
BREAKFAST
Growing up, my family would always have a fun breakfast for us to wake up to! Depending on what your morning schedule looks like, you can either prep the night before, or make the morning of.
Ideas
You could make pancakes in the shape of a heart and serve with strawberries and whipped cream. Or you could do waffles with a side of Nutella and whipped cream. To make it a bit more festive, you could set the table with red, white and pink (plates, chargers, napkins, etc) and place each persons Valentine's in front of their seat.
Another idea would be to make homemade pop tarts and have hearts on them.
THOUGHTFUL GIFT IDEAS
I also have a dedicated post that includes all the ideas I used over the last 7 years of dating Adam!
Write a note on the mirror in red lipstick or get mirror stickers and have them all over the mirror- gel hearts, etc.
Make sugar cookies in heart shapes and have fun words on them (be mine, cutie, love, etc)
Make a video of your kids saying how much they love your spouse on their fave things; like at the playground or swing, in the backyard, sitting in their dads fave chair etc.
Put notes in their lunch box, or bring them fun sonic drinks to work or school with a cute note attached.
Make popcorn and add white chocolate and pink and red m&Ms and wrap in cellophane with a note that says, YOU MAKE MY HEART POP.
For dinner: Do something they love- chocolate chip cookies, red velvet cake, fondue for dinner with strawberries and fruit that you dip in chocolate for dessert. Make your own pizzas, or eat by candlelight.
The ideas are endless. Be Creative. Have FUN!
