Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe
Ya know when you just get the sudden urge to bake and indulge in sweets? For me, a chocolate chip cookie always hits the spot!
This recipe is hard to mess up. I ran out of butter, so I used one stick of margarine and one stick of regular butter and they turned out just fine haha. Oh, and I forgot salt, but I would try not to forget that in yours because it really does make it taste better!
This is actually Joanna's old cookie recipe before she made a cookbook. She eye balled all of the ingredients and wrote this recipe out as a general guideline for us when we wanted to make them! So, when I say you can't mess it up, I really mean it because all of these ingredients are a guesstimate!
Ingredients
3/4 cup packed Brown Sugar
3/4 cup Sugar
2 sticks softened Butter
1 tsp Vanilla
2 eggs
2 1/4 cups Flour
1 tsp Baking Soda
1 tsp Salt
1 cup Chocolate Chips
Instructions
Pre-heat oven to 325. Blend sugar, brown sugar, butter and vanilla. Then add 2 eggs and beat again. Once blended, add flour, baking soda, salt and chocolate chips to the dough. Bake for 10-14 minutes!
If you make these cookies - take a picture, share to your stories and tag me so I can see! Hope you love them as much as my family does.
