Spring Date Ideas

Now that the weather is warming up and flowers are in full bloom, it's time to get off the couch, turn off that Netflix show you have watched 3 times already and get creative with your date ideas this Spring!

Adam and I like to switch things up a lot when it comes to going on dates. We usually like to have an activity involved - whether it's something competitive, active, or something we can provide commentary on lol and preferably something that doesn't break the bank! So, I thought it would be fun to share some date ideas with you that Adam and I loveee doing, and want to incorporate more since the weather has been so nice.

  1. Have a picnic - Adam and I are going to do this this weekend actually! With the 70 degree weather in the forecast it will be perfect!! Pack your favorite food (or heck, buy chick fil a), grab a blanket and enjoy the weather and each other's company. Maybe bring a deck of cards, a frisbee/football , a kite etc. to play with once you're finished eating!

  2. Go to a local baseball game - Adam and I love baseball and have been to multiple games already this year. You'd be surprised at how cheap tickets can be!

  3. Go to a farmer's market and eat breakfast/lunch there - this is one of my favorites.

  4. Go for a walk - this seems cheesy but sometimes it's nice to just stroll the neighborhood and have good conversation.

  5. Visit the zoo - keep an eye out for the days they have cheap or free admission!

  6. Go paddle boarding - start building up your tan and enjoy the time on the water.

  7. See a drive-in movie - bring some popcorn, drinks and some blankets and enjoy a movie under the stars :)

  8. Mini Golf - Adam and I are both competitive so we love when we can play against each other! Plus, I'm better than him ;)

  9. Play Tennis - this is actually Adam and I's first "unofficial" date we ever went on! We were just friends at the time and I invited him to play tennis...and the rest was history ;) lol jk it took like a year before we started officially dating.

  10. Have a game night! Order some pizza and pull out your best board games and deck of cards to enjoy some healthy competition ;)

What are some of your favorite cheap date nights?!? I'd love some new ideas if you have some :)
