23 Date Ideas

I'm sure you feel the same, but I LOVE date night!! It's fun and intentional one on one time that is so important in relationships. I feel like going on dates in high school was a lot bigger of a deal because the boy would come pick you up in their new car, open your door, compliment you and take you to some nice restaurant or fun place he planned out for the night. It made you feel special because your partner put time and effort in. But as you get into the mundaneness of life, being intentional and going on dates only gets harder! You both may have full time jobs, are both in school, or are maybe even doing long distance which makes it easier to just stay in and watch a show together. We can do better people!

To me, dating is so important for the health and growth of your relationship whether you are dating or married! It is a time for the both of you to take a pause in your normal routine, spend uninterrupted time together and ask intentional questions on how they are doing, what the best part about their day was, what God is teaching them in this season, etc. It’s not only a time to get to know each other and invest in one another, but it’s also time to make memories!

Some of my most favorite memories with Adam are from dates that either of us planned. Girls, it's okay to get creative and surprise your guy with a fun date, it spices things up and shows that you care just as much about the relationship as he does.

I hope that I can provide a few new ideas for you and your partner to spend time together and invest in your relationship. :)
